How GREENSYNERGY Is Revolutionizing Agribusiness with AI and Automation Across Ogun State

As agriculture evolves through technology, GREENSYNERGY is demonstrating how artificial intelligence and automation can transform traditional farming into a smarter, more efficient, and more profitable enterprise.

Founded by Babatunde Emmanuel Odunayo, GREENSYNERGY combines climate-smart farming with digital innovation to solve operational challenges across the agricultural value chain. While the company is involved in the commercial production of crops such as peppers, tomatoes, plantain, and oil palm, its core strength lies in the technology powering its operations.

GREENSYNERGY develops custom web and mobile applications alongside AI powered automation tools that simplify farm management, automate routine processes, improve data collection, and support better decision making. By reducing manual tasks and improving operational efficiency, the company enables farmers to allocate resources more effectively while adopting precision farming practices such as smart irrigation and digital crop monitoring.

Beyond technology, GREENSYNERGY is investing heavily in the next generation of agribusiness leaders. Through the Undergraduate AgricBusiness Training (UGAT) initiative at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Babatunde has trained and mentored more than 200 students, equipping them with practical agricultural skills alongside modern digital tools that prepare them for a technology driven agricultural sector.

The company believes the future of African agriculture depends on combining sustainable farming practices with intelligent digital systems. By integrating AI, automation, climate resilient farming, and value chain management, GREENSYNERGY is building a model that helps farmers increase productivity while creating more resilient and scalable agribusinesses.

As the startup continues to expand its impact, its vision remains clear: to accelerate the digital transformation of agriculture in Ogun State and beyond, empowering farmers, entrepreneurs, and future agribusiness leaders with the technology needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
