EventFi Is Building the Operating System for Event Organizers in Nigeria, Starting From Ogun State

Joshua Ibirogba and Olaosebikan Emmanuel did not build EventFi from a whiteboard. They built it from frustration.

The two Ogun State founders had been running events themselves, watching capable organizers burn time and money on tools that never talked to each other. Ticket sales on one app. Attendee communication scattered across WhatsApp and email threads. Check-in handled with a printed list that someone always misplaced. No single place to see what was actually happening on event day. They knew the problem intimately, and that is exactly why they built the solution.

EventFi is an all-in-one event management platform that replaces the disconnected stack most Nigerian organizers rely on. From a single dashboard, organizers upload a flyer and the platform’s AI fills in event details automatically. Ticket sales and revenue are tracked in real time. Team members are onboarded by email. Attendees are reached through bulk email, bulk SMS, or personalized messages, with a built-in call button for direct communication when it matters most.

On event day, the paper list is gone. Organizers search attendees by name and check them in immediately. The platform runs in-app engagement tools including an applause meter and raffle draw to keep the room energized, and a built-in attendee chat function that starts building community inside the event itself. When it is all over, event data exports as CSV or imports directly from Google Forms.

The traction behind the product is real. EventFi is the operational backbone of the Ogun Fashion Experience 2026, a multi-track event with hundreds of attendees across different ticket categories, and has supported programs run by JCI Abeokuta. The platform has crossed 1,200 users and processed over N200,000 in transactions. Every event it powers feeds sharper data back into what organizers actually need next.

What Ibirogba and Emmanuel are building is not another ticketing tool. It is the infrastructure layer that sits underneath an event from the moment planning starts to the moment the last attendee walks out. Their ambition is to make EventFi the default operating system for event organizers across Africa, starting in Nigeria and scaling continent-wide.

For a platform already running real events with real money and real crowds in Ogun State, that ambition has a foundation under it.
